1. Application of general terms and conditions

1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, reservation requests and agreements made with Camp Diekirch and relate to pitches and accommodations rented by Camp Diekirch.

1.2 Camp Diekirch explicitly rejects the application of other general terms and conditions.

1.3 Exceptions to these general terms and conditions are only possible if the parties have agreed in writing.

2. Reservations

2.1 Camp Diekirch only accepts reservations from persons 18 years of age or older.

2.2 The contract is concluded after we have confirmed your reservation, and you undertake to pay the deposit amount, non-refundable, see art. 2.3. Your wishes will be taken into account as much as possible during the reservation.

2.3 The renter will pay to Camp Diekirch after the reservation confirmation, within 7 days a deposit of 25% on account number: IBAN: LU58 0030 7063 4626 0000 / BIC: BILLLULL
This deposit is non-refundable. You must take care of the necessary insurance.

2.4 Four weeks before arrival, the balance must be paid into the specified account (art. 2.3). If this is not done after a reminder, and no check-in has taken place on the day of arrival, we consider this a cancellation on the effective date of the agreement.

2.5In the event of cancellation, the tenant is liable for the following cancellation fees:

1.If canceled more than three months before the start date, 15% of the total price as stated in the accommodation agreement;

2.If canceled between three and two months before the start date, 50% of the total price as stated in the accommodation agreement;

3.If canceled between two and one month before the start date, 75% of the total price as stated in the accommodation agreement;

4.If canceled within one month before the start date, 90% of the total price as stated in the accommodation agreement;

5.If canceled on the start date, 100% of the total price as stated in the accommodation agreement

The business operator recommends that you purchase cancellation insurance. It is possible to purchase cancellation insurance from Recreatieverzekeringen through the business operator when you sign your accommodation agreement. If the guest purchases cancellation insurance through Recreatieverzekeringen, the guest is bound by Recreatieverzekeringen’s terms and conditions and all decisions resulting therefrom. The operator is not liable for and has no influence over the decisions made by Recreatieverzekeringen regarding the cancellation insurance and the handling of a claim. The operator will at all times provide the guest with the necessary documents requested by Recreatieverzekeringen for filing a claim.

It is not possible to transfer the reservation to another person. As soon as the primary booker is no longer able to attend, you must cancel the reservation.

2.6 One car is included in the reservation. For an extra car you pay on the spot €3,50 per night.

2.7 The reserved pitch/accommodation will remain reserved for you until 20:00 on the day of arrival.If you have not arrived by that time, without any message to our campsite, your reservation will expire and no refund will be granted.

2.8 The maximum number of persons allowed is 6 per pitch, per XL pitch the maximum number of persons allowed is 10. Extra tent means a tent with two sleeping places with a surface of not more than 4m2.

3. Check in/out

3.1 Check-in is from 15:00 to 18:00. Upon arrival, guests are required to show their passport or identity card. Pitches and accommodations are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival.

3.2 Pitches are assigned by the staff, or is confirmed by mail by reservation. Site change is allowed only with the consent of the staff.

3.3 On the day of departure you have until 10:00 to leave your pitch or accommodation free and clean.

3.4 Camp Diekirch reserves the right to carry out a final check on the departure date from 9:30 a.m. regarding the condition and completeness of the pitch or accommodation.

3.5 If the accommodation is not left clean or in orderly condition, €50 will be charged.

3.6 No refund will be made in the event of late arrival or early departure.

4. Visitors

4.1 Visitors must be registered at the reception desk.

4.2 For an overnight stay, one pays the price that applies in the relevant period, and is only allowed after consultation with Camp Diekirch.

5. Rules of conduct

5.1 On our campsite there is a maximum speed of 5 km per hour.

5.2 Charging of electric vehicles is NOT allowed in the campground. There are several public charging stations in the area. If we see charging anyway, we will immediately charge €50.

5.3 From 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. it is forbidden to engage in any activities that may disturb the peace and quiet of our guests, such as driving on the campground by car or motorcycle, turning on the radio or TV, talking loudly, throwing glass into containers, etc.

5.4 Adults are responsible for the behavior of children entrusted to them. They must not disturb the peace and safety of camping guests.

5.5 Barbecuing is permitted. Be extremely careful with fire and never throw away a burning match or cigarette. Lighting of open fires is prohibited.

5.6 The use of tap water is not for play purposes. Please use River de Sûre for this purpose.

5.7 Smoking is prohibited in our public areas and accommodations.

5.8 In case of fire or other serious calamities; report immediately to the reception and alert emergency services (112). Police (113). Fire extinguishers are available, see lamp posts. Owner and first aid can be reached in an emergency at: 00352661808590.

5.9 Camp Diekirch reserves the right to make changes to the layout and opening hours of the campground facilities.

6. Interim termination of the agreement by the owner

6.1 In case of non-compliance with the regulations/rules of conduct, the entire composition of the party will be requested to leave the campsite. The owner may terminate the agreement with immediate effect: - if the tenant, co-creant(s) and/or third party(ies) fail(s) to comply or comply properly with the obligations under the agreement, the camping regulations and/or government regulations, despite prior verbal and/or written warning, and to such an extent that according to the standards of reasonableness and fairness the owner cannot be required to continue the agreement. - If the tenant, co-tenant(s) cause nuisance to the owner and/or other tenants, or spoil the good atmosphere on or in the immediate vicinity of the campsite, despite prior verbal and/or written warning. - If, despite prior verbal and/or written warning, the tenant acts contrary to the purpose of the site by using the pitch and/or his camping means. - If the camping equipment does not meet generally recognized safety standards. - Theft, vandalism, aggression and drug use are among other reasons for immediate removal from the camping site.

6.2 After termination, the lessee must ensure that his/her pitch and/or camping equipment is vacated and the premises left as soon as possible, but at the latest within 4 hours.

6.3 If the tenant fails to vacate the pitch, the owner shall be entitled to do so at the expense of the tenant. The owner shall not be liable for any damage resulting from or related to the clearing of the pitch, unless damage was caused by carelessness of the owner. Any storage costs shall be borne by the holiday maker.

6.4 If the renter believes that the owner has wrongfully terminated the contract, he/she shall immediately notify the owner and may take the dispute to the civil court.

6.5 In principle, the tenant remains obliged to pay the agreed amount.

7. Waste

7.1 You must separate your waste and deposit it in the designated container.

7.2 It is forbidden to deposit anything other than household waste in our containers. Any violation of this rule will result in charges. CCTV surveillance is in place at all times.

8. Pets

8.1 Pets are allowed on pitches (max 3) and in accommodation (max 1) provided they are kept on a leash and accompanied outside the campsite for their needs. Dogs of the Pitbull, Dobermann and Rottweiler breeds must wear a muzzle.

9. Own risk

9.1 Campers and visitors enter our grounds at their own risk. We are in no way liable for damage and/or accidents caused by third parties. By entering the grounds, campers and/or visitors expressly waive any right to compensation.

9.2 We cannot be held responsible for unforeseen occurrences, force majeure, natural disasters or legal decisions that disrupt, interrupt or prevent your stay and the entertainment/facilities on the campsite.

10. Damages

10.1 Damage must be reported to the reception, both damage to resources in our accommodation than on our property. Damage costs and any consequential costs will be charged.

11. Collection costs

11.1 At the expense of the tenant are the extrajudicial costs reasonably incurred by the owner after a notice of default. If the total amount is not paid on time, the statutory interest rate on the remaining portion may be charged after written summons.

12. Applicable law

12.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by Luxembourg law and in the event of a lawsuit regarding these Terms and Conditions or in relation to this website, the Luxembourg court shall have jurisdiction.
